FOUNDER / STRATEGIST

Julie launched Mountain Chic Creative in 2018 to fill a local need in Summit County for Marketing Services for small businesses.

Since then, Mountain Chic Creative has crafted powerful strategies and rolled out effective digital marketing plans to making clients more successful.

When Julie’s not tapping away at a the keyboard or capturing content for clients, you can find her doing / eating / exploring:

> Training for her next half marathon, backcountry skiing, mountain biking, hiking or backpacking – usually followed by a local craft beer in-hand.

> Her favorite food is…peanut butter…must be why she and JoJo mesh so well!

> One of her go-to daily activities is getting outside first thing in the morning. It’s her way of setting an intention for the day, before diving in to making beautiful things come to life for clients.

> A fun fact about Julie is that she spent an entire year backpacking through Southeast Asia. Over this time, she immersed herself in 10 countries including: Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and China (Hong Kong). Since then, she hasn’t lost her sense of wanderlust. If you have a MUST VISIT recommendation – she’d love to hear it!

JoJo is the secret sauce behind our content-rich blogs, social feed and creative ideas to keep providing our clients and audience value!

When she’s not crushing it behind the computer screen she’s typically up to a whole lot of fun! Get to know her here:

> In 2019 she beat the Guinness World Record for Highest Altitude Dance Party on Land. She was with her dad, sister, and a handful of her dad’s friends. They beat the record by climbing to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and having a 20-minute dance party with a DJ live mixing (plus several other qualifications). They ended up in the 2021 version of the book even when tens of thousands of records don’t get in. About a year or two ago it was beaten, so now they are in the process of creating our plan to regain the record!

> Her favorite food is…definitely peanut butter without hesitation!

> One of her go-to daily activities is cruising the base of Chautauqua in Boulder and obsessing over the houses at the bottom of the hill. Let’s not forget – relaxing, listening to music on a porch swing (an overlooked essential).

> Speaking of listening to music, her go-to playlist is one she made years ago that started out as dad music from her childhood (hint the cover photo of my dad) but has grown more into overall classic rock.
